We proudly accept digital impressions from the most commonly used intraoral scanners and CAD systems. Below you’ll find simple, step-by-step instructions for connecting your device to B&H Lab.
3M™ TRUE DEFINITION
Compatible with Invisalign and restorative workflows
We’re a preferred partner with Align Technology, making it fast and easy to send digital scans from your iTero Element scanner directly to B&H Dental Lab.
How to connect:
- Log in to your iTero account.
- Navigate to the “My Account” section, then select “Lab Settings”.
- Click “Add a Lab”.
- Enter our lab name and ID:
B&H Dental Lab
Lab ID: bh7420 Click “Save” or “Connect” to finalize the link.
Once connected, you can begin sending your restorative scans directly to us—quickly and securely. Our team will confirm receipt and begin work immediately.
3SHAPE TRIOS®
Streamlined integration through 3Shape Communicate
B&H Lab is fully integrated with 3Shape’s Communicate platform, which allows TRIOS users to send scans directly from the scanner interface.
Steps to connect:
- Sign in at 3shapecommunicate.com.
- Go to the “Connections” or “Communicate” tab.
- Search for us by email:
info@bandhlab.com - Send a connection request.
- Once approved, B&H Dental Lab will appear in your list of available labs.
After that, you can assign cases to us directly through the TRIOS software, ensuring a faster and more accurate workflow.
Carestream CS3500
Direct integration via CS Imaging or STL export
Carestream intraoral scanners—such as the CS 3500, CS 3600, and CS 3700—allow you to export cases directly or share through Carestream’s CS Imaging software. B&H Dental Lab accepts all compatible Carestream scan files, including open-source STL.
Option 1 – Send via STL export:
- Complete your scan in CS Imaging.
- Choose “Export” and select STL format.
- Save the files to your computer.
- Email the files directly to: info@bandhlab.com,
or share via WeTransfer, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
Option 2 – Through CS Connect (if enabled):
- Go to your CS Connect dashboard.
- Add B&H Dental Lab as a recipient using:
info@bandhlab.com - Upload and send the case.
We’ll confirm receipt and get to work promptly.
Planmeca®
Seamless file sharing from Romexis® or PlanCAD®
Planmeca intraoral scanners, such as the Emerald™ and Emerald™ S, provide flexible export options via Planmeca Romexis® or PlanCAD®. B&H Dental Lab accepts both STL and proprietary PLY formats.
How to send files:
- Open your case in Romexis or PlanCAD.
- Choose “Export” and select STL or PLY format.
- Save the files to your device.
- Send via email to info@bandhlab.com,
or upload using your preferred cloud service (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
